Ford P100 Custom Pick Up
For sale is my 1992 P100 Pickup.
In my ownership for 10 years, when I purchased it, I was told it had started life as a forestry commission vehicle.
Originally I used it as my works vehicle way back when I was a carpenter where it was completely stock and never let me down. When I changed jobs, I had no need for it, so she sat in dry storage for about 4 years until I decided during COVID lockdown that I would give her a new lease of life!
Following work carried out in 2020:
Sierra front struts
Refurbished calipers
New disks
New pads
New Springs
Capri Atlas axle
Lowered 4" (maybe more, can't remember)
New drums
New shoes
New slaves
Genuine Sierra bumper
Resprayed
Work carried out in November 2022
New battery
New cam belt
New water pump
New refurbished starter motor
New auxiliary belts (water pump and alternator)
New fuel filter
New air filter
New oil filter
Fresh oil.
The respray is of a good standard, I'm very happy with how it turned out, it gets a crazy amount of attention anywhere it goes. The wheels are incredible, they are original Great Britain cast retro wheels (Great Britain is cast on the rear of the alloy) never been able to work out what they are, but I believe they are Turbovec's, 13 x 7J on rear and 6J front. They were professionally blasted and powder coated about a year ago along with the nuts and are still mint with no curbing at all. The tyres are Toyos all round, basically brand new, maybe 80 miles tops on them. Toyo Proxes R888 on the rear and Proxes TR1's up front.
Couple of quick points that need addressing for next MOT:
Hand brake cable recently went.
Screen washer bottle needs reinstalling
Windscreen has lamination separation (shouldn't be a fail, just doesn't look great)
All very simple fixes, I may even get round to them depending on how long the sale takes.
IT IS VERY LOW! Scrapes a bit on the chassis when you go over speed bumps etc. Can be a very bouncy ride, I used it as a daily driver to and from work for a couple of years (about an hour each day) and it never bothered me.
I have extra bits to go with it if I get full asking price:
Full genuine P100 rear tub bars with spot lamps (will upload pictures soon)
I'm after the full £4,000 for the truck to come with the current wheels and the bars
Anything under will come with a full set of good condition minilites
Offers welcome, but I'm sticking with the £4K if you want the wheels because I love them and would happily keep them!
