	Morning Glen, Gillingham wasnt the destination, Gillingham (well, Rainham, it sounds better at least ) was the departure! The football was in Doncaster as it was an opportunity for my sons first away game en route The yard unfortunately is waaay oop norf. Id rather not give the specifics of the location as you can understand?

	I understand completely 👍 It looks reminiscent of the yard I salvaged some Noddy van stuff from up in Lincolnshire a few years ago. I hadn’t realised that you were as close to me as you are. I drive through Rainham most days with work.

	In between the spares trip there was still some repair work going on. The front panel was blasted (I cant remember if I had mentioned this). Its not in too bad shape, mainly suffering on the returns and behind the rather large bonnet emblem. As the photos show, I opted to do this in various sections, bit by bit. The idea of this was to try and give me a reference regarding the original shape, but more truthfully, I don't have tools or skills necessary to be able to replicate the intricate shapes in one piece. Although I have no photos at the minute, it is indeed completed now and I don't believe it looks too bad at all. Next time I pop down the shed I'll grab a photo of it.

	The next big job that has happened was taking the body off. Fortunately I had the easier part of the deal again. All I did really was spray up the bolts over the last few weeks, then crack them and remove every other. Dad then came along again at his leisure, borrowed the lorry and lifted the body off, before dumping it on the back of the Milk lorry. Nice and easy! I'm now left with the bare chassis, with everything easily accessible. I hope to give it a blast off with a pressure washer before working through it. Looks to be just a clean up and repaint with any luck.
