In order to fit air con in my old Merc I need to use a very small compressor and the one from a Fiat 500/Panda suits the bill. The aluminium pipes for this point the wrong way so I have to make something up using the ends cut and adapted. Unfortunately, rather than screw-in fittings, the compressor and pipes use connectors as per photos.
This isn't a problem in itself. But all the air con connectors that I've found so far are steel and so I couldn't weld them to the ally.
So, is there an air-con type crimpable hose connector in ally I could use and weld up? Eg something like in this but in aluminium?

Or if I use steel with a thread as above and I tap into the ally, what thread seal is suitable for use between steel and ally and isn't affected by air con oil or gas?
Thanks
