Nice car,I've owned a Mk4 Estate for the last 11 years!!
Mine is just the Zetec 2.0tdci,but they really are a decent car, mine was 3 years old when I bought it. I really don't know what to replace it with when the time comes. Mine currently has 316,000km on it.
Nice to see one on here.

I’ve had it’s bigger brothers, a S-Max for 5.5 years and a galaxy for the past few months. Looked at a mondeo but needed a bigger car. Have proved to be reliable and comfortable cars

Finally got around to fitting the rear view camera that's been sitting here for a few months now! It's just some cheap no-name stuff from China but works surprisingly well. A new boot handle with an integrated camera and a wireless connection kit. Install was pretty straight forward - take out the headunit, plug in the receiver and connect it to power and ground. Take apart the boot lid and fit the new handle / camera and then plug in the sender and connect it to power and ground as well. No need to run wires through the entire car. Works surprisingly well!

Erm, all these suggestions of a remap made me investigate it a bit more and I found someone local to me able to do it. And I kinda spontaneously went for it. Had it done last night. They claim it's 280hp / 420nm, I'll probably put the car on a dyno someday. It goes like stink, though!! Previously took just a bit more than 8 seconds for 0 - 100 kph, now it does it in an even 7! I'm happy

Great result.
I'm interested in seeing how you get along, given that my parent's TitX is also a PowerShift, albeit a TDCI

Mine is a 2.0 EcoBoost and has been running 275bhp for 3 years, mapped straight after a gearbox rebuild and new clutches which was due to poor maintenance from the previous owner.

That Mondeo is/was just awesome.
Your vinyl wrapping in the woodgrain is absolutely beautiful

Mondeo has been my trusty daily for 3,5 years and I really can not say a negative word about it! However, I sold it three weeks ago, as the desire to drive something older again was too strong. So... the replacement is gonna be this: '96 Golf VR6 - will open a thread on it once I've picked it up. It's still currently at my buddy's shop, getting some work done (timing chain and some service items) before I pick it up.

That's a lovely looking motor, really like the wood effect trim. Been tempted by them for while, but having constant Powershift failures through my garage, all the good spec ones seem to be Powershift and that's a big no for me personally, too much to repair properly out of the blue, especially if the gearbox servicing routing hasn't been at least done to Ford times, if not more often.
