1971 Renault 4L RHD
This is an incredibly original, solid, right hand drive example having spent its life in the dry and sunny climate of Johannesburg, over a mile above sea level. It is showing just 65, 000 km (40, 000 miles).
Has recently been recommissioned and has been in regular weekend use. The engine starts and runs beautifully and it is very good fun to drive.
Set off in a very attractive colour, the bodywork is amazingly original and almost untouched with just a few minor age related marks as you would expect. It is totally solid and there are no rust issues, the underneath is excellent. The interior is also all original and in great shape with the original rubber floor mats in excellent shape.
A really great example of a right hand drive Renault 4 that in my opinion should be preserved and maintained just as it is. A very good fun, useable classic.
It is still currently on its South African plates, all relevant import taxes paid and NOVA completed ready for the new owner to register with DVLA in their name and be issued with a UK reg.
