Not really one to write about this sort of thing, but thought I'd give it a try!
Always like the mk2 MR2, but the UK models are massively disappointing, and I can't bring myself to pay 'proper' money for a jdm turbo. I am lucky enough to know a lad who happened to have one (long story in itself). He didn't care about it beyond it being a means of transport. He would do probably 3k a year in it. Washing it once in his 8 years of use.
He parked it up when the clutch slip was worsening. 2 years it sat on his drive, until one day he said I could have it for £800. Down I pop with a jump pack and away I go.
Now, I hadn't seen the car properly for maybe 5 years, so I couldn't remember much about it.
I've got a list of jobs, but not too bad. It's a 1994 rev3 GT-S. Needs a few window seals, full respray, 2 sills, 2 doors, gearbox rebuild (just bearings), clutch, drivers seat needs the leather stitched up and I need to Underseal it. But for £800 I'm happy! The lsd box is worth double that!
