I’ve got new front and rear screen rubbers for my MX5 engined Austin Somerset but the quarter light rubbers are really dry and hard. Is there a product or tip for softening them that anyone has done and can recommend?

It's pretty good, you'll need quite a few applications if they are really hard. I've been using it for quite a few years on my MR2, keeps the T-bar seals nice and soft 👍

Clean them from dirt and put them in a pillow cover and put them in the washing machine. Nice and warm with some soap.
We also used diesel fuel to get some flexibility in old doorrubbers. Just put diesel on a rag and gave the rubbers a good rubbing with it.
