For sale is my Triumph Spitfire 1500, I bought this car 4 years ago, It having sat in a barn for 11 years. I spent the next 3 years recommissioning it, Replacing/upgrading every brake and suspension component as well as renewing all other major systems on the car. The past year I have daily driven the car but have now decided to move on.
The car is currently on 65277 miles, and is an ideal classic daily (Tax/MOT/ULEZ exempt) for someone as it is very sound mechanically, the twin SU carburettors have been tuned by a professional this year and I have also done a full service recently. Over the summer the sills have had welding done, so they are solid. It has had a fresh clutch, flywheel, differential, payen headgasket (head skim too) and a brand new fuel tank this year so will be usable from the get-go. The bodywork/paint is a little tatty round the edges, but is overall solid. There are a couple of issues including slight crustiness to the bottom and some wear to the hinge of the passenger door, but nothing major (I’m including a replacement passenger door and hinges along with many other spares in the sale).

Steel braided brake lines
Canley Trunnionless uprights
Uprated front springs
Uprated negative camber rear leaf spring
Spax adjustable rear dampers

Aleybars roll bar with harness bar (spreader plates welded into body)
E-Rated LUKE 4 point harnesses

The car is located in Nottingham, and I am looking for as close to £5000 as possible. I would also consider a swap/partex for something RWD and 80s (if unsure, ask!), especially a Pre facelift Nissan Z31.
