Hi all,
I'm shortly going to do my first air suspension install. I've got a kit coming for my car, which includes all the basics.
However, I'm hoping to make a more attractive boot install, with hardlines etc. For this I'm going to need tools and hardware, where is the best place to get tools/hardware from in the UK at somewhat reasonable prices. I don't mind paying what I need to for safety and function, but with the caveat that any tools will only get used a couple of times in my lifetime at the most, probably only once!
Off the top of my head I probably need:
- hard line piping (most likely copper, perhaps alu)
- a pipe bender for either 1/4" or 3/8" hard lines
- bulkhead fittings
- fittings from tank/manifold to hardlines, either PTC or compression - is compression more reliable?
I've seen a few suppliers for the line and bulkheads e.g. intermotiv, but can't find everything I need. Also, benders from air sus suppliers seem hugely expensive...
Any help welcome! Pic of the car for your viewing pleasure...
