hi all, selling my 64 elco as I need to finish other projects. description below any questions I'm happy to answer them.
1964 El Camino
All parts listed below new within 2 years unless stated.
Engine and trans
283 small block chevy (bottom end untouched but it's been built previously by the look of it .30 over not sure when)
Originally a power steering power brakes air con truck. (Still has power steering, power brakes but no air con)
New head gaskets
New Uprated oil pump
New sump and pickup/strainer
New Mild cam
New Timing cover
New Timing gears and chain
New Uprated water pump
New Larger aluminium radiator added electric fan
New Edelbrook 4 barrel intake
Fi tech injection with 6 month old( tanks inc) efi fuel tank with intank pump
Powerglide box (filter change)
Original cast manifolds with new flowmaster down pipes, custom stainless steel 2 box system with v bands.
Chassis and suspension
Modified for air ride (previous to me)
New airbags all-round
New Airlift 3p air ride management x2 compressors
new ball joints
New Wheel Bearings
Original Chevy 10 bolt with New Axle Bearings
New Disc brake upgrade front and rear with master cylinder
New painless wiring loom and connectors throughout
New prop shaft and joints
15x8 steel wheels
Body:
All major holes In body welded and repaired.
A lot of new trim and badges
Custom front splitter
Finished in 2k matt clear coat
The bed is black raptor bed liner
Air tank is in the old trunk in the bed extra space for tools etc
Engine bay and dash painted in the original colour the truck came in from the factory.
Wire trucked and shaved Engine bay.
Interior
Re trimmed bench not Original bench
New Door cards
New Instrument cluster
New Headliner ( still missing rear window trim, haven't found any yet?
Fi tech controller
Airlift controller
New aftermarket fuel gauge and oil pressure
Added period correct rev counter (instead of clock)
New compact heater with matrix ( works off Original heater controls)
Restored Original style steering wheel
Horn and washers on switches under dash
New Newport Uprated 2 speed wiper motor
New Original style radio but with phone plug in for music
Uprated Original dash speaker
If I think of more I'll add it, drives as well as any old American truck on air ride does. Cruises and stops well.
