1976 Ford Capri II MK2 Base 1300 1.6 Pinto
Hi and welcome to the sale of my rare mk2 capri.
Finished in white with a black vinyl roof, very 'Minder' esque!
Originally a 1.3 base model but has been fitted with a 1.6 pinto engine.
Engine runs well with no hesitation and gearbox works as it should. Recently completed a 250 mile trip from Runcorn to Norfolk without fault.
A clean and solid example - good condition overall for its 46 years of age. Please see all photos as these form part of the description.
Fitted with matching white minilite style wheels.
Interior is original but driver seat would benefit from some attention.
Historic vehicle so MOT and tax exempt, cheap classic insurance.
As with most classic cars, there are some bad points: speedo not working, have to unlock/lock doors via boot due to non-original keys, missing bonnet prop, lack of paperwork.
Overall an affordable way into classic ford ownership, simply use as is or as a good base to further modify/improve.
