Here is my dearly loved 1984 Coupe GT up for sale. I’ve had her just over 3 years and she has driven just over 146,000 miles (3,000 miles of which during my ownership).
Here are some features of the Coupe:
- 3 Speed Automatic
- K Jetronic Fuel Injection System
- 2.0 Litre 5 Cylinder Engine
- Power Steering
- Electric Windows
- Vacuum Powered Central Locking
- Front Wheel Drive
……and here is a list of some of the work done since my ownership:
- Timing Belt and Water Pump Kit
- Track Rod End Ball Joints
- Lower Control Arms & Ball Joints
- Tyres (x4)
- Alternator
- Anti-Roll Bar Drop Links
- Primary Silencer
- Overhaul of the brake system
- Fuel Pump & Filter
- Air Filter
- Cylinder Head Cover Gasket
Paint is by no means perfect (you’ll notice she has 500 shades of green and has a bit of lacquer peel) but is still presentable for her age. She would benefit from a full re-spray in the future along with attention to small patches of rust (see photos).
Interior is also green with a green dashboard. Seats are Coupe spec, but appear to be from another Coupe at some point in the past as the seats don’t quite match the door cards.
She’s never left me stranded and always starts first time. She even had to jump start a 10 year old car when both had been stationary for a number of weeks!
The Coupe will come with a box of parts I’ve bought over the years. The work I was next going to look at was to change the oil (oil filter supplied) and change the ATF (filter and gasket supplied).
It would be wonderful for her to go to a fellow Audi/classic car enthusiast to see her through to her 40s (will then be Tax and MOT exempt). I bought another car earlier in the year and have another classic car, so am selling my Coupe.
If you would like any more info, please see the link below to the thread my other half created of our work done or drop me a message!
