This sort of fell into my lap today, my mate has just bought a 2010 one in a lovely grey colour and I was just browsing on various sites as you do when I spotted this two owner 2005 350SL Mercedes with 73,000 miles on the clock. It was fairly local and with nothing ventured, nothing gained I took a look it.
Owend by a 85 year old lady it has had no expense spared on it with servicing and very fresh good quality Continental tyres recently fitted. It has been well looked after and has been garaged most of its life, certainly for the last 5 years.
It was originally sold in the England and was then kept in Scotland with the first owner keeping it for 12 years before it came to Northern Ireland on a private plate.
It seems to run very well, quiet and refined. It ain't a sports car but more of a GT car with all the toys and electric everything.
I can't afford to run 5 cars so the MX5 will have to find a new home, be sad to see it go as I've had plenty of fun with it, up Stelvio and other passes with ease.
