Volvo P1800 E.
Full v5 logbook and keys present.
Lovely original example that hasn't been messed with too much, and is the sort of car to use as is and improve along the way, or a great base to restore to high standards.
The best colour scheme you could wish for, the off white body, with red trim.
This is the later injection model. The injection system itself has been replaced for a more reliable setup and the engine runs sweet.
The car starts first time, seems in great mechanical shape, idles nice, and drives fine.
Brakes are a bit spongy so could do with a bleed or checking over etc. But they do stop the car, and do their job. Hand brake needs a new cable fitting.
Interior is all there and complete. Could do with repairs or new covers for the front. To be fair just a good clean will do the interior the world of good, as it has been sitting in a lock up.
Body is very straight, very solid with very little signs of previous welding. It is old paintwork, so expect the odd light scratch, defect in the paint, odd rust bubble or mark etc.
Even a wash and polish with a mop will make the car so much more presentable. I am happy to drive it exactly as the paintwork is, but of course if your looking for a concourse car then expect to give it a full respray.
The engine bay is exactly as it should be, although has years of dust and grime, will come up a treat with a good clean. The boot area is much the same.
Lots of spares included, a whole boot full. Too much to list, but have included a few photos of boxes of parts.
I would recommend trailering away, its TAX and MOT exempt, so buyers choice, but brakes are not the best, and I haven't driven it overly far. As always I recommend a check over or put in for an MOT prior to driving it about, but just my opinion.
Can assist with transport nation wide, at buyers expense, just ask for a quote.
Thanks, Matt
