I have been asked by an old friend to help him sell this amazing Buick , he has owned it for about 10 years and has now decided he no longer wants to keep Bertha as she is too big and he wants something a little more practical.
I am pasting his comments below along with some pictures , the car is for sale and sensible offers will be considered .
Initially I would prefer email contact to weed out the joyriders etc .
The plus features are - completely new exhaust system fitted last year from engine to exhaust pipe end. 4 new tyres Whitewall radials that look like cross ply tyres. Fitted when I got her.
They've probably done less than 2 thousand miles. Twin banked 6volt batteries giving a lot more oomph for starting.
Working original valve radio with facility to play tracks from mobile phone.
Renovated vacuum wiper system.
Rechromed rear bumper.
The petrol gauge has never worked. A new sender was fitted but didn't seem to cure the problem. Hasn't been much of a problem though.
The mileometer is stuck on 78 thousand miles.
The boot interior needs relining.
