Bought this many years ago while looking for a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Japanese import (as they weren't officially sold here). Apart from a different stereo, boost & afr gauges and turbo timer, its totally standard, no mechanical or cosmetic modifications. Came with the factory fitted 4G63T, same lump as made famous by the Lancer Evo, but with a slightly smaller turbo. Many of the tuning parts for the Lancer will fit this. I've been tempted, but its already quick enough for me.
Rear seats are accessed via a single sliding door. They can slide along rails in the car, fold up/down, giving the option of massive leg room or huge space in the boot.
I've never seen another one in the metal, but would be delighted to hear from other owners.
