I've recently bought a Cayman 987. I love J-tin. I want to combine the two because aftermarket Japanese wheels are the best but need 1) inspiration, and 2) actual proof that 5x130 JDM wheels are available out in the wild and what they may look like on a Cayman. I'll start us off with something like this... the chap on Instagram tells me they are one-off wheels originally meant for 996 (fitted with a spacer):

Driftworks will supply most Work and SSR wheels in custom PCD, widths, diameters and offsets.
Pricey, two and a half grand a set, but you can do pretty much whatever. The owner has a 964 with some steamroller-wide custom Work mesh style wheels.

That 911 on Wats is the greatest thing of all time. I tried to see if I could get a similar look on my 996, but the stupid offsets on modern Porsche wheels don't really allow it. Yahoo Auction doesn't let non Japanese IP addresses browse it any more, but you can still use sites like this to find wheels: buyee.jp/item/search/query/130/category/2084195237That is a search for "130" in the 5 lug 18" wheel category. TE37's work on everything.

You're right though, I suspect they could probably accommodate other models in that PCD. I'd love to see the modern Enkei or Volk catalogues in Porsche fitment.

Contradicting myself here as I know they're not JDM but the momo Heritage 6 look just grand.... If I had the interest to do it, those are exactly what would be going on my 996 ... I say exactly, the bronze versions of those. HRE also do some amazing wheels, but they are all of the money.
