Inspiration from my motherland - Lithuania That is so cool...it looks so like a Studebaker. I'm guessing that it's got full BMW running gear as it's got Schnitzer rims on it. If anyone from Retro-Cars is reading...PLEASE feature this car!

Here's an unusual one, an M22, the estate model! or this, the later M24 model, mechinically similar but with a larger 2500cc engine and 100 odd horsepower over 75, and to me they're less nice looking. There were even rotary engined models of these with up to 210 horses, but I'd still love to stick a GAZ V8 in one, out of a GAZ Chaika. All the later Volgas were based on the M24 model, this one is still in production, and there's a new, updated version, now with a more ergonomical interior and new front end look, and disc brakes I think, but there's no beating the old M21, is there? M21http://www.gaz.ru/eng/ist/gallery/Gaz24.jpgURL[/img] M24 This is the Chaika, which had the 5.5, all alloy GAZ V8 engine, which had over 210 horses with it's original 1950s restrictive carb, and on curse word cold war Soviet petrol, so I reckon there's definite potential for a bit of a monster, isn't there, imagine it on throttle bodies, with a good ignition system! How cool are most Russian cars?
