I can’t read it on my iPhone now and I’m to vain to carry reading glasses all day
The merc had gone to a decent chap and as said I’ve looked at a few rover 75s, but there just not for me
I fancy something different I’ve never owned
Always disliked but admired 90s Vauxhalls
Does that make sense !!! So I’m looking at few on Sunday
I do like this forum so if anyone can help me change this mobile phone version back to the bigger type screen please tell me how too, I’m not clued up on tech s#it so bear with me

great to have you back, the reading glasses will get you in the end! we probably have half a dozen pairs scattered around the house now, 2 years ago neither of us needed them. for close up stuff I even wear 2 pairs.

So it’s been a few weeks of looking at cars
Some absolutely rotten, some ok but just not grabbing me
And some sold before I could get to them
Got a couple to look at this weekend
The Jaguar just keeps doing what it does incredibly well for a car that everyone told me not to touch !
The cold weather has stopped me doing anything on the escort
But hopefully I’ll get on with it soon

   So I bought this , 1998 model ford puma 1.7 It’s been stored for four years so needs a good service , new brakes tyres etc and a power steering hose replacing Crucially it’s quite solid with just one inner sill needing a repair Time to crack on with it , service parts ordered along with new pads n discs, wheel change a 40mm lower coming Spent today giving her a good clean |

So with life and the loss of my dear mum car stuff got pushed the back of priorities in the run up to Xmas But as I had 12 days off over the festive period and my dad going away for a well deserved break my wife knew I needed some stress relief time , so I got plenty of time on the puma New pads, discs new rear shocks , lowered springs all round A full underseal and various other bits done And a nice set of cosworth wheels purchased and fitted A small bit of welding to get done , new number plates to order and fit new droplinks, and an oil change and she should see her first mot for four years Just a few pics           The escort is due up soon for some attention hopefully once I’ve got the puma motd |

With the cold weather I’ve been working indoors, well in the conservatory! Bought some 17” focus mk1 wheels for the escort recently I’ve stripped them prepared sprayed and lacquered two of them and had tyres fitted back on, I need to do the other two and buy two more tyres, I’ve got a mobile welding guy coming to fit a passenger sill and do a tiny bit on the puma inner sill shortly weather permitting    |
