Here is my 1965 Morris mini countryman.
Nice and early, Morris Mini 850cc.
V5 present in hand, only 4 previous keepers.
Genuine ''woody'' in very original condition, looks like the original engine, and doesn't look to have ever been restored in the past at all.
Needs full restoration, photos describe it better than any words can.
Roof is in great condition, and the boot floor in pretty good shape, as are gutters and scuttle and pillars etc.
The Mini will basically want new full floors, sills, scuttles, wings etc.....
The bonnet is shot, the rear doors are half decent, just want the very bottoms repairing. Side doors are in pretty good shape to be fair. Wings could repair, inner wings and bulkhead look ok.
Engine is all complete mechanically speaking. Would have been running when parked up in a shed years back, so best to pull out and re-commission in my opinion.
Car rolls and steers fine for loading.
Some spares included- what you see in photos is what you get, so yes, glass, trim, wood-work is all missing.
(Every panel, every nut and bolt you could possibly need, is readily and cheaply available from the likes of Mini Spares etc. The wood work can all be purchased in a kit, and just screws onto the sides etc.)
Its a very worthwhile project, its a nice early Mini, a rare model, and prices are just going up and up as these become more collectable and sought after.
Don't think you will have it done over a weekend! But then again, its a Mini, and about as straight forward a car to work on as you can get.
Nation-wide delivery available, just ask for a quote.
Located in Hertfordshire.
Last photo is one restored, for inspiration only- not included in the sale!
