At work on Tuesday i saw this Melina Blue beauty. it was a part exchange that had just come in and being 'retro' i just don't see cars this old where i work.
Being a main dealer and seeing as how highly priced any vehicle is as the moment i tentatively asked the sales manager how much he wanted for it "You can have it for £350" Well i needed little excuse to say "ok,sold"
I've little knowledge about these other than they rot with no encouragement. The combination of You Tube and Google has informed me that it's 1.7 Lux pack from June 1999, it has 96K on the clock and a half decent MOT history with just over 1000 miles between MOTs during the last 10 years.
I've as yet found little history on this particular example but from what i can see it looks clean, reasonably well looked after and unmolested, even the arches are rot free from what i can see.
I am going to clean it up all round, polish the paintwork and lights, repaint the wheels and service it then i'll use it so as to find out for myself just how good this chassis/ engine combo really is.
Anyway,enough ramblings here are more photos of the Puma, i'll be collecting it on Tuesday
