These come off a Chrysler BRM.... Any one know what else they might be used on? I'm rather stuck for new leads at present. Inside the rubber cap and extension piece there's just the lead with a crimped end. If you give the rubber cap a wiggle you should be able to release it from the lead and work it along the lead a little way, then work the extension free. This will show you what end you have crimped on the lead. Do the same on the other end. In the UK the Greensparkplug co and some others on ebay etc sell the ends and a small crimping tool that goes in the vice and puts the ends on the cables, you can reuse the rubber caps and extensions 'harvested' from your old leads. Choose a new lead type (lots of suppliers sell a whole range of different types) and then make them up using your old bits and some new crimped ends.

jimi yes please if you could measure the plug end it would of great assistance. 16grit i had given it thought that the ends must come off but haven't been brave/brutal enough to work them free.....a bit of isopropyl (or how ever its spelt) might help i guess If push comes to shove i shall do as you suggest and reuse the ends if i can. The coil end is the same as a spark plug top. Which is new for this engine and not something normally found but can add the correct ends.
