Firstly If this isn't allowed please delete. I can't put a price on it as one, I've no idea on value and two, it's not really "mine" to value.. (that been said the money is for my mum so doing what I can)
If anyone has seen my build thread I recently lost my dad. He has had a garage for last 20 year specialising in older stuff but primarily classic minis.
Over that time he and the guy he worked with (who is in his 70s and not on the internet) have amassed a humongous amount of parts, from cars they have broken etc. There's engines boxes panels interiors subframes arms looms wheels glass. Basically everything barring a shell to build multiple minis.. and then some!
Now the garage is closed. And the guy he worked with for last 20 year is calling it a day. So all this needs to go asap..
I've attempted to take a load of pics but there's this and more, lots more. Ideally it needs to be some one who specialises in classic minis, or someone who does the auto jumbles or wants to split it on eBay and make a fortune off it.
Like I say there's that and more. Lots more. 99% of it is used. There may be odd bit of new stuff but assume for the most part it's used. Obviously there's gonna be stuff that's only really scrap or as spares to get summat going.
Now the crux of the issue. It's all got to go as one lot. Nothing is being split or sold separately. I've not got it in me to keep going down there and going in the garage. And neither has the guy he worked with. So it's one lot. Or not at all. Your also going to need a very very big van/several vans..
I know he's not wanting the world for it.. the garage is costing money til it's empty and it needs to go asap.
It's in Sheffield, if anyone is interested get in touch. Likewise if someone knows a business or someone who does autojumbles and they may be interested send em my way. I can pass guy he worked with details on and try help get people in touch.
