Honda City Turbo 1.
The City Turbo 2 is a very, very rare car, the Turbo 1 makes the Turbo 2 look common place!
We believe this could possibly be the only one in the UK ....? (Please correct me if you know of others).
Imported in 1985, fully UK registered with an old style UK logbook present with 0 previous owners recorded.
The car hasn't seen a road since the mid '90's - and has been tucked away in a storage unit.
The City is all complete, just recently, after the local garage have under taken the re-commissioning works, it now starts first turn of the key, its super reliable mechanically speaking. It runs, drives, idles and revs as it should. Digital dash speedo all working. Obviously there may be a few bits to stop it from passing an MOT, or making it roadworthy. But from a good look over, it only seems that brakes need attention and the exhaust has a small hole that needs patching up.
The car is complete, all parts of body kit are present and in good shape. The only reason why the side skirts are not fitted is so that viewers can see for themselves how solid and original the sills are. The two metal backing plates for the side skirts are in rusty condition as seen by the photos of parts, however I have just had the local fabrication shop make me up a pair of new ones to be fitted.
Interior looks in almost perfect condition. Its complete and in time-warp condition. Even still retains its original floor over-mats, the tape-deck, the steel wheels and centre caps, the original pair of City keys etc...
The shell is rock solid, never been welded, and has recently had a fresh coat of paint, which makes it look very presentable. This is not a million pound concourse paint job, but it is a very nice job.
Transport available at cost if required.
Car located in Hertfordshire.
Thanks, Matt.
