SPOT you! I won't do what you tell me.... Those who SPOT are justified... c'mon "Its not my turn to pay for the meter you tight old sod" Aged 13 I should have been doing this not, well, not what I was doing. East-Euro look Passat, beat up panels, Polish plates, its certainly a look thats catching on round here. SPOTcam is curse word. This was WITH the flash. Winter spotting sux. I need better camera. Imissed a few goodies because I couldn;t get 'em due to light levels etc.

No option to increase the exposure time?
I've got a Canon Powershot A620 which was fairly cheap, has a full-manual mode and will do just about everything I ask of it.
You use a compact or slightly bulky one?

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

SPOTcam is a cheapo Vivitar which is pretty rubbish really. Its little more than a step up from a phone camera . Its 5MP but interpolates up to 11 MP. And its very very light. Goes in my work shirt or pants pocket and I just whip it out when I need to SPOT! I got it in Hong Kong and the idea is it was cheap enough that if I was sick all over it, dropped it in the loo or something it would be OK cos it ws cheap. Also it doesn;t spoil the line of my threads man, you know. I also have a Kodak whick is a bit bulky which I keep for workshop shots and a Canon EOS400D but I don't walk about the place with that. I might upgrade SPOTcam, I keep looking but I can't find anything small enough light enough which is actually a decent camera at a good price. This one is the size and weight of a pack of ten smokes.
