	Hi all Bought this W124 Cab last week from East London in desperate need if some love. Pics of when I picked it up [a href="\|https://thumbsnap.com/c1QoKEkM"]\|https://thumbsnap.com/c1QoKEkM[/a] Needs some love - no history, chrome (shudder) wheels, headrests stuck, dodgy hood, windows stuck. Got to work with a new set of wheels which I home refurbed - came out pretty well. They ET was 49 (from a CLK?) So needed some 10 and 15mm spacers Next spent 300 quid on a new window regulator for the rear so now the hood can retract as it should. Refitted some missing trim bits and gave the car a machine polish Its turned out pretty well - obviously its lowered - not sure how I feel about that. Only thing I'm debating is whether to replace front wing - tiny bit of rust on corner where it meets bumper! Paintwork is great and engine seems strong - its a 220 What do you guys think it is worth out of interest once the front wing is replaced and painted or repaired? Cheers

	Love to own a Cab, but prices for them in Holland are lightyears beyond an affordable level for me. Blue is not my color but i would wrap it. Wings are unobtainium, so you'll probably have to get them fixed. Nice ride! Is it the leather interior?

	No idea on value but that's a nice looking car, Did you buy it with the intention of "flipping" it or are you thinking of keeping it ?? (Sorry but also have to say I quite liked the wheels it came on 😁😁) Nigel

	You'd be best placed to judge how yours would stack up against this car but should give you an idea of value in the current market: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-A124-W124-E220-E-Class-Convertible-Cabriolet-1995-/114996453333?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 I think the new wheels are an improvement, but the back is too low, needs raising about 30mm, front is fine. Nice looking car if you like a retro cabriolet.

	I think that would look a million times better if the wheels were silver, rather than brake dust grey.

	Values are all over the place. 4 cylinder cars are worth a fair bit less than the 6's. For these, OEM is King, if it is modified, then the value will be hurt. Wings are available, go for good used ones if you can, the pattern ones are notoriously poor fit. Give Fraubenz a call and see if she has one. Interior trim parts are a difficult thing to find now.

	My wings were starting to go on my S124 when I got it. They are repairable but as new ones were available from the local dealership for under £300 and in stock in 48 hours I went for them instead. Fit is perfect as you'd expect. I've stored the originals in the loft because when the NOS dries up I think they could be useful but as I was having the work done at a garage it made more sense financially to replace rather than repair. I have found German eBay.de with Google translate to be great for getting used spares, although not all breakers are willing to ship outside the EU at the moment. James
