Evening.
Have managed to annoy myself to thermo nuclear proportions.
Am fitting a Walbro 450 into the fuel hanger/basket for Woody. De pinned the connector so I can do a 'proper job' and then promptly put the blue clip that holds the pins to the connector into orbit. Completely gone. Spent about 2 hours trying to find the damn thing and have finally given up.
So, my question to those that know a lot more about this stuff than I, can I use normal silicon to hold the pins in place and will it be affected by petrol?
This is the final bit from stopping me fire up the engine so would appreciate any thought or pointers.
