Hi everyone, a while ago I bought a 560SEL and a 500SEL. The 560SEL is running and hopefully will be back on the road soon.
The 500SEL is a parts donor, but has plenty of bits that can be sold on to others.
It's fairly rotten, but I have definitely available:
Some fairly good doors (I've a few spares as well)
Complete 5.0 M117 engine, which turns over by hand (not tried starting it as it's been sat for a number of years and I'd recommend replacing the timing chain guides).
Electric rear seat adjustment (car has brown velour front and rear)
Most electrical bits, switches, interior trim etc etc.
Bumpers from both S1 and S2 W126 cars.
Most of the suspension and running gear, although the gearbox won't be available quite yet.
Car is located in Bristol, UK. I'm happy to post things both UK and (smaller things) overseas 🙂
Engine would be great in a smaller Merc (W123 or W210 190e etc).
