A good friend invited me out for the meeting, although down on numbers (no surprise) it was a good couple of hours (including breakfast) took us a little longer to get there due to traffic, but great fun travelling in his uprated crossflow powered go cart! The whining of the gearbox causing him to go faster to try and save what oil was left in it before it became bone dry! the smell of transmission fluid mixing with the heat from the engine and exhaust (plus the burning of the oil on the exhaust putting a smile on out faces! ...... i know!!!!)
Anyway! here are a few pics, it's interesting how some of the cars have the same crossflow engines, but had been done 'different', but the main question of the day, was how the throttle cable had been mounted and if you had the old style Milton peddle box or the new one?
personally, i am not keen on the arched look, but it's different.....
