Not much of an update but fitted a chin spoiler as like every 70's J car would More importantly got all the internal wiring sorted and the dash back in properly and replaced all the fuses and everything now works as it should π

Got on with the suspension whilst I'm waiting on the brake master rebuild kit and front calipers to turn up It put up a bit of a fight to come apart but got it off in the end, New vs old Fitted, little bit of drilling was needed Ready for the 200sx s13 hubs and brakes. Got some new adjustable lower arms from a s13 200sx so fitted them knowing they will be too wide. This is with discs on and the lower arm adjustment as short as it will go Cut them down today but waiting on a tap to add some more thread into them. Still waiting on rod ends and other parts but hoping to have it back on the ground next week. Struggling with doing this all in a single garage π usually would be out on the driveway doing it but had a new drive done a few weeks ago and moving soon so I can't ruin this one π

Been waiting on many parts unfortunately but got a little bit done Trimmed the lower arms down and have now re tapped the holes so I have asked the adjustment again. Front castor arms are with the machine shop to make them fit. Hoping to have it back on its wheels are the camber set up at the weekend. Will go for full tracking before I start using it as there's no way I can get castor, toe and camber perfect haha

Can't you roll or flare the arches, like a BMW 2002 Turbo, say?

It's a possibility. You can buy arch kits made for these but I can't make my mind up on if I prefer it with or without them. They seem to suit the front end but not such on the rear in my opinion. Decided it was probably easier to do it this way rather than cut all the arches out then Decide i didn't like it π

Managed to find a rebuild kit for the master cylinder as the brake system was completely dry when I picked it up. Just need to get some clips for the bottom.of the pots and clean up the bleed nipples

Not worth going for a larger master cylinder if you'll have more fluid in the system because of the s13 calipers?

I was planning on getting a bigger master and servo but I couldn't quite stretch the budget for it at the moment as its quite expensive.
Will be done when i do the engine more than likely. This was just to get it usable for the time being and seen a few people running this set up with no complaints

Managed to actually move it out of the garage for all of ten minutes between it raining over the weekend π ordered pretty much all the parts I'll need for now so hopfully in the next week or 2 I can get the brakes finished and give it a little test drive and see if the clutch actually works well enough

Had an issue of the tie rod adjusters being too long, wasn't much choice on finding other cars that used m14x1.5 adjusters like these but shorter but of all the cars that have them, it's from my other car a 1987 passat π New tie rod ends inner and outers and the new shorter adjusters Bit of basic tracking just so I can drive it to the tracking place. Probably not going to be any time soon but makes it easier to push in and out the garage

What a brilliant, characterful little car! I suspect itβs probably me, and quite a few of the rest of us, but why are nearly all modern cars just so shi*eβ¦β¦β¦??βΉοΈ
