Very rare 1965 'woody' or countryman Mini.
Starts up first time, idles nice, sounds lovely, runs smoothly and drives spot on - best Mini I have driven in a long time!
Finished in Surf blue with complimentary interior, nice early features with the dog-leg gearstick and smooth roof etc. Perky little 850 engine.
Been in storage since 2015 but mechanically seems in perfect order, everything seems to be working fine, prob wont need much to MOT at all- in fact I can assist with selling it as an MOT'd example if desired.
History folder, v5 logbook etc.
Some spares and trim etc all included.
I am honestly hoping to keep for myself - just desperately need some space and need a few cars to go ASAP - if others go first then I will remove add and tuck this one away!
Very solid no rust, very original and very tidy for one of these.
Not perfect, in terms of bodywork- but in my opinion - not worth changing or getting too in-depth with it, its very original, has some nice character and charm to it; few odd marks here and there, decent paint, but tiny chip or dink here and there, wood is all original and has had a few coats of varnish in its time! - but not rotten at all. Bit of 'minor' wear and aging to the seats etc. Just stuff you expect from a almost 50 year-old car. Bit dusty in photos - haven't had chance to clean it.
