It was a long since I sold my beloved 1602, and against my better judgement I bought the engine and all peripherals back from the current owner to build again a mighty 1600 like the old one. When I realised that I got back only the core engine filled up with water, I decided to quit the 1,6 category and to level up. So I bought a 2002, 1974 model with a lot of body issues, it took me about 6 months to deal with them and to build a 2,0 engine with 300deg bmw camshaft E12 head, tii pistons, and 40 dcoes 88-89 type. Now the car is almost complete, with getrag 235/5 gearbox and 4,10 40% lsd. Suspension is also upgraded in the traditional way, with lower springs , bilsteins in the front and red koni rear shocks.
