For sale is my 944, I've had the car since October last year, and in my time, have got it on the road, the interior partly re-installed (no headlining/front carpets) and have used it as my daily. No longer have the time to work on the car to get it to where it easily could be & have bought a 190e as a more practical daily.
The car was used as a spare competition car by the previous owner and has a LSD fitted, as well as a hydro handbrake and bash guards on the underneath. The fuel pump and cooling fan are ran off switches rather than the ignition, but this means no DME issues. He also did the welding on the sills - these are still solid, however the filler he used to shape them afterwards had gotten stonechipped and absorbed water, would recommend taking this off and re-doing, the arches could do with a bit of welding as well, i'd planned to get this done at the same time. The car is still solid and there is no rust/corrosion in MOT areas. Does still have functioning heatinng, leccy windows, and has a bluetooth stereo fitted.
Paintwork is tatty - had planned to keep as is over summer and get a respray done in winter time. With a polish and cutback car would look a lot more presentable, however is fine as is.
The car is a lot of fun to drive, the stainless exhaust has a nice sound to it, although rattles a bit at idle (baffles have gone in the backbox). With a bit of work/love/tlc the car will be spot on and a very usable, cool asf car. There is a bit of an oil leak, and does blow a bit of smoke after booting it, if i was keeping the car, i'd planned on getting the belts, head gasket and valve seals done (unsure of when belts were last done).
Mileage is at 62k on the clocks, but speedo cable had not been working prior to me fixing it. Mileage is believed to be around 65/70kish. Mot till October '21 - oly advisory was rear brake discs, have got new pads and discs to go with sale. - if time allows and weather picks up i'll get them put on.
Included with the sale is an estate car full worth of spares, including a N/S wing, side glass, light clusters, door seals, engine/drivetrain seals, water pump, variousmounts and more.
Car is located in Newcastle and is available to test drive until the end of the month (tax expires). Price isn't firm, but will not take any part exs/swaps/tic.
