Hopefully this can stay here as even for me it's classed as "new" despite it being 14 years old. Although the design is at least 16 years old. It's proper chod motoring so if that interests you, read on. Provo spec vibe trim, no AC, no electric windows, no central locking. But has fancy metallic black paint. Engine is the Toyota 998cc 3 cylinder with 68bhp. Timing chain so good for 120-150k miles with regular oil changes. 101k miles but FSH with 10 services, an alleged new gearbox under 4 years old. Had clutch at 40k miles. Was a local car owned by the 2nd owner for the last 10 years. Crucially, not covered in dents dings and scratches. I looked at 4 other local cars and all were cosmetically FUBAR. Common with these city cars. It's got some things to resolve which I'll detail in this thread.

I have one of these as a commuter. Mine has dents. Lots of dents. Still, characterful little thing. Am intrigued to see what your plans are for it.

My 107 history.
Following two 1007 Peugeots, I then paid for an early Peugeot 107 for Nicola.
She loved it, I preferred the 1007’s and despite it being a different car altogether to the 1007’s it felt light, and certainly despite being peppy, and zippy, I would not want to hit a gate post in it.
My personal experience and opiniononly.
Conversely, I saw Nicola this week.
She is on her third 107, having traded the silver one (Priscilla) I bought for a red one (Parker Mk1) and now in Parker Mk2 on a 19 plate.
So they clearly do what they need to for those who drive and love them.
Looking forward to what you get done to this one.

There was me thinking you were against these type of posts! Then again, you aided me in getting the ST220 project onto here . I think you should divulge on how you came to get this car. Mainly around the examples you saw . I have an idea of how this is going to go, but I'm staying quiet for now....

Interested to see how you get on with this... When these were released I hated them, but (partly due to BOM) I now see how they could be a right laugh if fettled a bit.
I'm now also debating whether one of my most complete cars is old enough to be on here, being a 2006 model year car originally designed around the millenium and released in '02 - my two actually retro cars are still in their infancy!

I ran one for a few months as a beater and I enjoyed it. My wife pointed out to me that I was driving like a maniac in it but that was the point. Rev that little triple to the moon and drive it on the door handles.

A young feller took a C1 motor to fit in the back of an IMP! He lost interest/moved on in his life..
My Auto 3pot Suzuki only stops me getting to 6k because it 'Blinks First'! lol

I've got a 58 plate 5-door that I bought last January to replace an aging 2002 Honda Civic, chosen primarily because it only costs £20 a year to tax rather than nearly £200. Mine also had 101k on the clock at purchase but is a "Rhythm" model which means such luxuries as electric windows, central locking (would be remote but the key loses it's programming after a few days so I don't bother), colour coded door handles, and mine also has AC. It's only done 3,500 miles since I bought it but it's a brilliant little thing and more fun than it's 68bhp would suggest.

As said, these are great fun. Toymota engine just needs a shorter final drive to close all the gears up. Wife had one for about 130,000+ miles before her illness.
I always thought the engine and box would go well in a classic mini, and the smaller wheels would help the long ratios.
Isn't there a Fiat 126 on here with the engine in it?

Another great car to live with, except for the doors that can get confused by its own remote control or kids.
