1966 Austin A35 van.
Charming little van, starts first time, every time. Idles and runs sweet. Drives as it should.
Pretty low and genuine miles, folder of paperwork, plus the v5 logbook.
Last MOT'd in 2019 I believe, but was still on the road late 2020 too. (Tax and MOT exempt).
It drives absolutely fine, everything seems in pretty good order in terms of road-worthiness. Apart from there being almost no-existent brakes on the pedal, so this needs looking at.
Was painted a few years back, the green paint is presentable, but is tired. The sign writing is all professionally done by hand, a stunning work of art.
Its had welding done in the past, not masses though, as you would expect for one of these. Sills are reasonably solid, but have patches and plates, some grot and filler etc. Not full of holes though.
Spare complete engine, two spare gearboxes, and a spare rear axle, can be thrown in too.
Very reluctant sale, my plan was to just run it for a couple of years, as is, then when I have time, take it off the road, fit new sills, full re-spray, fresh sign-writing, nice over-haul and turn it into a real neat example. Just struggling to find time, and need to free up space, so some cars need to go....
Thanks, Matt
