Toyota Yaris 1.0 GLS 104k £150 ono
This is my daughter's car which she's had for years. She filled it up last March and then went into lockdown and has been working from home ever since. She is due to have a baby in a few weeks so won't be going back to work anytime soon.
During lockdown we parked it at our house as she has no offroad parking and SORN'd it. The MOT expired last November.
The battery was dead so I've shoehorned a spare battery in, it's the wrong size but it's secure for the time being. The engined fired up first turn of the key despite not having run since last year. The tickover is fast, not sure if that's due to the battery being dead and the ECU needs to reset, it might be that the petrol is a year old. But the air con still works!
The car was serviced by a local independent every year. I filled the sills with oil as they tend to rot at the back end on these.
I have the V5 for it. It has dings and scrapes but no major damage to bodywork.
No idea how lockdown will proceed but thought I'd post it on here in case anyone local can make use of it before I ebay it as a spares or repair.
Message me on here and I'll message a contact number. We live in a rural location where the mobile signal is very patchy.
