Thread from the dead and all. I have a real soft spot for the Ka. My ex-wife had one. Traded it in for a Mini Sprite SPI. The Ka was just a slightly more refined Mini.... 
I will have one as a bit of a project car at some point I guess. They have apparently some styling cues inherrited from the 105E
Back in the day I used to know some folk who ran them with Puma engines, etc. there was even a Cossie 4x4 Ka.
There is a yellow one near me with the colour coded bumpers which looks mint.
The problem is when I looked for one last, literally every one for sale was an MOT failure on rust.
