Hello!
I've recently discover an AX GT listed for sale for dirt cheap. The seller claims the cars transmission and engine are in top shape but the body and undercarriage is completely rotten and so the car could only realisticly be used as a donor car. So my question is how possible if at all would it be to transplant the engine and running gear from the GT to a regular AX of aproximately the same year of make. What complications could arise? I know this is a broad question but any info or experience you might have woud be grateful. I'm not a novice mechanic but I'm no professional either. I have all the tools I thonk I might need and a car lift, engine stand, etc. To me it seems like the actual engine and running gear wouldn't be a problem, but I'm worried about the loom and general electric/computer incompatibilities... I just don't want to end up with two piles of french tin cans and a hole in my wallet. So please, anything helps
