Hey all kind folk of Retro Rides. Been a long time between drinks, anyway, after a string of Triumphs and Porsches I have sort of settled on my second DC2 Type R, in this instance a 2000 model Type R X - the very last of the breed out of the Japanese market.
I've owned it about 18 months and have been focusing on making it a super clean, OEM+ example of the breed.
The Type R X is the final edition, so to speak. It essentially came with all the options, ABS, airbag, privacy glass, alloy pedals, blue-tinged faux carbon trim, folding mirrors, six speaker audio etc.
In short:
B18CR with Mugen 4-2-1 header, Mugen Gen 1 exhaust, Mugen intake.
Engine bay detailed with new OEM fasteners and brackets where available
New OEM cam cover
Ohlins PCV coilover suspension
Optional OEM rear strut bar
Standard 98-spec 282mm brakes all rebuilt with Endless pads
Advan RG 16x7.5 wheels
Optional Honda Access OEM side skirts and end caps (genuine plastic, no repro here!)
Export-spec clear blinker lens tail lights
RA9 Odyssey Absolute clear side repeaters (just say no to eBay stuff)
MOMO Tuner wheel with genuine OEM NSX-R horn button and trim
Optional OEM 'Personal Box' in place of ashtray

Hope you enjoyed! It's a total blinder of a car to belt around in, fits me like a glove. Recently managed a 14.3 second quarter mile at 98mph!
