Here is my Consul Capri, fitted with an Essex 3.0 v6.
Solid car- had plenty of welding in its time, as with most 50/60 year old cars, but its solid now.
Just had a full respray in Ermine White, real nice job overall, inside has been done, so has all inside and out of panels, engine bay etc. Couple of odd imperfections here and there that I have come across, but nothing that jumps out as such.
Underside is stone chipped.
Engine fitted with linkages, but not fully plumbed/ wired in yet.
Full interior present in usable/ reasonable condition- not mint though.
Looks like around 3 sets of chrome trims and bumpers. All usable but in various conditions. Some side and gutter trims are brand new stainless items.
New rear screen rubber fitted, new front one here too, but the original has been re-used as works fine.
Shed load of spares, looks like almost everything is here plus duplicates. 2 rads, 3 petrol tanks, boxes of ancillaries and mechanical components....
Uprated brakes and suspension and struts etc.
Currently fitted with deep dish Rostyles on front, and mk3 Capri alloys to the rear. However, I have a brand new set of 7x13 Lotus Steel's replicas with brand new tyres fitted, here and ready to be fitted on the car.
Keys and v5 logbook.
All in all a great car with huge potential. Its a case of fitting it back up, in terms of interior and trim, then wiring and finishing the engine off.
I am currently working on the car now, so as the days and weeks go by I will update the advert, but generally speaking I will get the car 'put back together' pretty quickly, and my mechanic is due to start on the wiring straight away too, so obviously once the car has progressed the condition and price will start to change too.
don't realy want to sell this one, and I am not going to go mad with adverts everywhere- not long had it at all, and these cars are like gold dust to get your hands on- there are so few around. I was intending to do it to keep for myself, but I have too many half-started projects on the go, and I need space!!!!!
Delivery can be arranged, thanks, Matt
