Got a project on the go that involves a switch panel. I need 5 of the switches to do individual actions (ie map light; kitchen light; bedroom light; undershelf light; etc).
However, I also need one of the switches on the same panel to be "EVERYTHING IN ONE GO".
I think this means a bit of trick wiring with the 5-pin relays I was going to use anyway... But I can't quite get my head round how to wire it so if the "everything" switch is on, then the rest are off (and not short-circuiting).
And vice versa, in that if I turn on the bedroom light, it doesn't then fire electric voodoo up to the "everything" switch and turn everything else on as well.
I think I need to wire the 87a pins (normally closed) so they open when the "opposite" is turned on. But my Google skills are failing me.
Anyone have a dummies guide (preferably with diagrams) to look at? It is all 12v car based, very roughly anyway. I'm happily fusing everything that might melt as well.
