Not my retro car/bike.
2006 1.9 Alfa 16v turbo diesel.
After a bad waterpump seize, shredding the belt and breaking 12 rockers, I replaced, waterpump, pulleys, tensioners, cambelt, aux belt, gaskets, removed swirl flaps, cleaned manifold, new injector seals, removed sump, cleaned, checked and re-sealed.
With a bit of start juice and a jump she ran, actually better and quieter than before.
Came back next morning to a splatter of oil on the flooor, checked all over the engine and could not find a trace.
Started it the following day with a bit of injector chuffing, mate said leave it as they may settle.
Came back next day and there was a much larger amount of oil on the floor, checked engine again, nothing.
Noticed a drop of oil on the airbox joint, unclipped it and found where the oil is coming from.
Some are saying turbo seals and some are saying blowback pressure.
Any suggestions ?
