Fancy a big yank tank? This one is a 1965 F250 4x4 3/4 ton truck. It sits atop a 1979 F250 chassis and is decent, but was done many years ago. It is a family heirloom and they want to put it back into daily use.
It is powered by a 302 or 289 v8, carbureted and sluggish. Fuel tank is inside the cab as many of them were from this era. The drivetrain is tired and sloppy. The body has lots of rust and the cab floor was raised to allow the 1979 fitment.
It runs and drives but it feels like it it was assembled by Santa's Elves- if they were hillbillies from 25 years ago.

I'm thinking a modern F150 4x4 complete chassis swap. There are SO MANY options for wheelbase matching, but only one comes close and it's rare. Figures.
This project is in the planning stages but it's going to be worthy of a road trip once it's completed.
