Picked another project up at the weekend so its good time to start a thread with everything in so i can keep track of progress. Iv shown a couple of cars on here before i think, both fiestas which i still own. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Both are now sat awaiting their fate as other projects have replaced them. So, this is the van i collected on the weekend. 1990 Escort 55 van Originally a 1.4cvh but thats now been replaced with an ST170 engine. Its also been lowered on Peugeot 17" steels. The plan with this van is to get it sign written with my company logo and have it looking as it would had we owned it in the 90s (no website addresses or mobile numbers that kind of thing) Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Id been planning to build something like this for a while and wasn't looking for one that was already converted, but after looking for ages this came up and was a good deal. Id already bought running gear though so the jenveys, manifold and quake lsd gearbox here will eventually make it into the van and ill sell the bits i remove/don't need. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr My main project is this 1985 Fiesta XR2. I bought it as a bare shell nearly 3 years ago to the day, got loads done to it in the space of a couple of months then pushed it into the corner of the unit as other projects came and went. Its a frankensteined 2.0 zetec with a decompression plate, plan was to just enjoy it with 250hp and then swap in a spare focus rs engine i have when i fancy more power.. or when it goes bang whichever comes first. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Also own this 1988 Mk2 Fiesta, originally bought it for the running gear to put in a more standard looking car. Sold loads of bits off it to the point it now doesn't owe me much, might put it on the road one day or i might finish breaking it. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Slightly less interesting and not quite retro yet but i also have these in my collection. 2002 Focus RS Bought this 4-5 years ago when they were just starting to creep up in value, its currently in dry storage waiting until i pull the trigger on getting it painted and some rust repaired. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr 2002 Fiesta Finesse Started life as a 1.3 endura, now has a 2.0 duratec engine with Jenvey throttle bodies and Omex management. In the process of refreshing alot of this and hope to use it as a track toy once its finished. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Thanks for looking, thats all for now but I'm going to try my hardest to keep this updated

As a fellow Ford fan and engine swap enthusiast (currently have a MK6 Fiesta ST, MK6 Fiesta with ST180 engine and a MK3 Escort 1.6 project) I am very much looking forward to this!
Are they 18" Team Dynamics on the Focus? Looks really purposeful with them, my ST currently has 17s in anthracite.

Yes they're 18x9 TD 1.2, very common choice on these but for good reason imo.

Thanks you for all the feedback Since my last post iv managed to get the Escort through its first MOT in 15 years, credit to the guy who built it it went through with zero advisories.. no backhanders either! Iv started its transformation into work van too with the addition of a roof rack, pipe carrier and some skip find ladders Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr

Really like your black Fiesta. You could paint rust, tear and wear in right spots to date it. Does it run ITB's, manifold and LSD already?

Thought i'd update this for where things are currently a year on. Not much has happened progress wise, i bought a house about 6 months ago so projects went on the backburner even more than they were already. The blue Mk2 Fiesta in the previous post has now gone, i finished breaking it up and did a deal with a mate for most of the running gear. The shell was bought by someone who has intentions to build it back up. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr This also came and went during the last few months, yielded a few decent spares for other projects and moved the shell onto someone who also intends to build it back up Picking it up Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Trying on a set of wheels and trying to not get attached to it and keep it (Good job i didn't as id unknowingly be replacing it 3 month later anyway!) Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr How it left me Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr This popped up on facebook marketplace for a good price. I still have it and have no intention of getting rid, but also not sure where it fits in with my plans now.. time will tell. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr This is my latest addition and the car I'm most excited about. The car was built 12+ years ago from all NOS parts, was well documented on forums and then just disappeared when the owner sold it on before he finished it. It passed through a few sets of hands and lost some parts when a friend got hold of it, he then went to town and sold alot of it It then sat in his mums garage for 10 years. Around 6 months ago he got the itch to pull it out and start making moves with it. The next 3 photos are from when he owned it. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Since the day it was pulled out the garage i think we both knew id end up owning it, but it was more of a joke at that point. Until 2 weeks ago when he bought a MK1 Focus RS and we made a deal for me to get the XR2. Loaded up ready to come home. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr The only thing iv done so far with it is go through all the spares that came with it and cleaned up the mess inside from 10 years of rats using it as a hotel. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr The wheels have already gone to the same mate who bought the running gear from the blue Mk2, i have a few choices available to me for this but I'm currently leaning towards these. Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr They are Kiwi-Linea 2 piece splits, the popped up on ebay a while back before i owned the car and i had to have them. They would never clear the brakes on my white xr2 so buying this gave me the reason to not have them sat on the shelf hopefully! Oh yeah, the latest black xr2 has no running gear either. I will update what i will be putting in once iv decided myself! Thanks for looking! If anyone has a nice early black xr2 interior please get in touch

Have abit of free time today so thought id update this abit. The white fiesta track car ended up being broken for spares, the running gear was sold to a friend for his Mk4 Escort cabriolet. I still own everything else plus a few additions since the last update. The black XR2 was put away a while back whilst i build another garage to house it, i will hopefully have that sorted this year now the weathers imporoving. How it currently sits Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr The escort van has stayed mostly as it was apart from a colour change on the wheels Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Early last year a very well known car in the fiesta world was advertised for sale with the potential to break if, i put my name down as being interested in the shell with a few other bits and in July it was delivered. I had decided that the white xr2 was a little bit too tired and i didnt fancy restoring it so this was the logical thing to do. How it arrived Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr How it sits currently Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Thats it for the Fiestas Over the christmas break i was scrolling fb marketplace and found a listing for something i wouldn't normally go for, the ad was a few weeks old at the time so i sent a message and found out it was still available. The only issue was it was located 150 miles away, didnt run and i had no means of getting it back. After realising i was now able to legally tow after the law change, luckily i found a guy on marketplace with a trailer for hire and dragged this home on new years eve eve. Took nearly 8 hours in the end with picking up and dropping off the trailer but went without any hiccups. The tow vehicle which is also my "daily" Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Towing the car in question Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Don't get me wrong, i'm not a fan of the puma although i don't completely hate the way this looks Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr The reason why i bought it Untitled by Will Tillett, on Flickr The car has full mk1 focus rs running gear including gearbox and brakes. I spent a while trying to get my head around why it wouldnt start, its running an aftermarket ecu that is piggybacked off of the pumas factory wiring, in the end i deduced that the cam or crank sensor wiring was broken somewhere so rewired them completely and it now runs perfectly. Thats all for now - Thanks for reading if you got this far
