This one was a complete surprise. It was local, the lad who had it needed the space urgently, and I was a bit worried it would end up being either scrapped or falling into some unsympathetic hands, so it was a no-brainer really, bearing in mind how rare these are now.
Back in the 90's I loved these. The first generation Hyundai Coupe which replaced these in 1996 were a decent looking, quirky thing, but I preferred these. Quite simple, uncomplicated lines. I believe they aren't the best handling of cars, but would that be such a surprise with it being their first attempt at such a car. I'm not one for pushing cars to their limits, and I generally drive withing the speed limits, so my love and appreciation for most cars comes from their exterior. And, like I say, I always liked these.

The MOT runs till March, but things to sort before another...
Four new tyres
A jacking point needs welding
and on top of those, it ideally needs a full respray and a power steering fluid leak sorting.
This one will be a slow burner, and will get sorted when I have the time and funds to divert to it.
