I've been looking for an early cable change Maxi for a while now. Some years ago I located one in Belgium and a friend bought it. He hadn't actually done anything to it, so I jumped at the chance of importing it from Holland, when he decided to sell.

When I was a wee lad, my Dad bought a new 1970 Maxi 1500 from Henleys in Bristol. It was not without its problems, but we used it hard. It was Trafalgar Blue IIRC woth a blue interior; the fact the seats folded made it appealing for camping.
Best of luck, John

1970 would have been blue royale as per Wilma above.

Nice, My Dad bought one to tow the caravan, It was an ex company car with minimal mileage and, as the garage manager who looked after all the company cars, he knew it was a safe deal, Brilliant motors, Looking forward to seeing future updates, Nigel
