hairdo, Glad you like the mini blog, the current times have even been taxing especially when there is less sunlight, so this forum is another activity. An other reason is to maybe encourage others to see what you can learn and achieve as my working life was in commercial computer systems:)

Some really interesting and innovative ideas on this build. 2cvs are very good off the tarmac anyway, but having a low-range box coupled to 4wd will be awsome. Probably a good call leaving the flat twin in place to reduce the drive-line stress. Well done indeed on your build!

Thanks for the comments, not been driven properly off-road. However the extra kilos added it will need more Bhp, with the gearboxes used extra power can be transmitted. Have plans for a Moto Guzzi 750 v twin that would do nicely.
