Is Turboing the 1098 an option?
With
-A small amount of boost
-Either an EBC or MBC fitted to assist spooling and lag issues
-An off the shelf manifold to make it work
-Ignition changes to retard the ignition (I think 123 Ignition do a dizzy which can do this), or a Nodiz installation can get around the problem
-Exhaust fabrication to the silencers
-Conveting a HIF44 to Metro turbo Spec.
You could probably have a pokey engine that's a little different and with more usable power. 998s have been turbo'd for a while now.
