Can the motor be attached to the other end of the mechanism to move it away from the steering? Very good call Phil. nickwheeler and I briefly discussed using the original levers to drive both wipers. But I have two motors, arms and wipers and it seems more than enough space. So for now I am happy to mount them separately. Do the wipers share the same screen space at any time? If so what stops them from hitting each other as the motors, load on the wipers etc. will no doubt cause them to go out of sync?

Really starting to look good Rian, not long till it’s out and about. Just keep the rubber pointing down and all will be good.

Bit of a hectic day. Fitted at 07.30 this morning with Mickey’s help lifting it in. Had to use a small hydraulic bottle jack to push the front feet open about 15mm that the heat distortion had created. Bolted down. Pretty (very) happy with the overall look. Closer to my visualisation than I deserve. Most importantly was getting it to lean back to mimic the “B-post on the entrance/door. Rear supports hardly impair load area. So some practicality retained. Unobtrusive from the front. This is a great point to have made it to in my opinion from where it started. How much further before the final straight?? . Really starting to look good Rian, not long till it’s out and about. Just keep the rubber pointing down and all will be good. Thanks mate. I just went to page 1 to look at the original car and photoshopped look and I think this lot, as achieved is not 100 miles off the vision. Lower is achievable but not sensible for a regular, fun driver. If only nickwheeler and I had painted it while the body tub was in the air…….. Still, it gives me something to look forward to next season. After winter.

Looking good ! well done... Happy with it so far. From where you started Rian it looks stunning, I particularly like the little / subtle modifications from standard, (if a kit car can ever be "standard",) Getting so close now mate, Nigel Nigel, that slight / is a big part of the visualisation based on the Owner type Jeeps in the Philippines with their exaggerated roll bars. Subtle is wprking in this case.

So many people have contributed in various ways. Building, fabrication, parts sold, donated, advice given, searches done, parts links found and shared…… Those who pop in for a cuppa tea, chat, etc. The list goes on. Thanks all.

Harnesses are different makes and needed different approaches. Some changes may still be affected. Drivers side HOOKER Harness. Passenger is SIMPSON ITEM. Lots more to come I guess. Awaiting rear light units.

Looking good and always nice to see a happy, smiling face lol, Just out of curiosity, can you still reach everything from the drivers seat when strapped in ?? (Only asking because, in the couple of cars I've driven with harnesses, they restricted movement a little too much,) Nigel

What stops the straps from moving along the bars when they're done up? There will be a lot of force acting on them in unexpected directions if they're ever needed.

Also in the post/mail today a random sticker. I like the sentiment. And have suspicion who it is from. Come on…… own up. Certainly will be used on the ally firewall.

What stops the straps from moving along the bars when they're done up? There will be a lot of force acting on them in unexpected directions if they're ever needed. On the Fug we fitted lateral stops either side of the harness straps to stop them moving. They seemed to centre when in use anyway, but was a pain to get them in the right place to put them on (would probably have been useful in a crash etc, but luckily have no experience of that)
