10 minute job. All I could get done today. nickwheeler and I spoke about these lityle bits before. Why not sort them all when building originally. My excuse was running out of underseal. But a can of satin black works fine. Plus some masking. Jobby done. But I should not have. My eyes tell the true story. Knackered still. Also masked the wheel arches while I was at it. Much better after. Another little tidying up job out the way. First 10 meter roll of webbing arrived today. Waiting for the 15 meter roll.

Morning Grizz. As others have said, the RR is looking epic when you look at the photos of when you first got it so great work. Hope the Covid is easing? I've been back at work for the last 2 weeks and trust me, don't push yourself too hard during this time otherwise your road to full recovery may be a long one. Take it easy.

Do you don yer protectives and pull the light down when drilling? I always turn down the lights when I am drilling these days, more of a comedy trainsmash than main event. Grizz there’s plenty of underseal here happy to brush in for you if needed👍 Thanks Dan, I can afford to go grab a can, but it was only two smaller areas, plus being bloody minded about the fact this car has cost a lot more than planned, means I did it the lazy way. Just catching up on this Grizz, looking good. Happy you are back up & about, that covid does slow you down some. Covid is a weird thing, before the last 10 days I may have thought less about its lasting effects, but it seems a virulent little curse word and one just needs to do what you can, rest certainly features in there, though I do struggle with that mostly. I agree, this is a weird thing and for those who have not experienced it, they may not understand till they do. I have had to slow down this week, a lot, but headed back on track it feels like. Did another random, unrelated, but actually very related job last night. Started on the front extension façade for the carport, which will reduce the amount of light spillage into neighbouring yards and also the rain that gets under the roof when the weather comes in hard from the east. Hopefully it will look a bit more like a service station forecourt once completed. Weekend will be here in 8 hours.

It's the weekend now here. Take it easy and get well soon. I do struggle with taking it easy. So I have been finishing the carport front end. Question is, what to do next. I am no electrical wizard, so finding the missing wire is like finding the hole in the dyke in the dark. Got that wrapped and happy with it.

Finished this job. Then started on the Marmite application. Halfway through I shouted the word that may change to a fox on here. End of play for the day. Still, happy with the changes.

You must be well chuffed with all the progress. Garage forecourt looks great and the Resin Rocket looks well at home there.
Don't forget to take a step back and admire where all the hard work has it to 😎

Don't forget to take a step back and admire where all the hard work has it to 😎 Thank you. Progress has been less than I like, I really had hoped to be done by now, but some parts of the build are not my forte so I have to be patient or figure it out myself. Still, it is moving ahead almost daily. More I guess than some projects out there in the greater world. And yes, forecourt fir what it is, going in the right direction too. Thanks for reminding me to stop and smell the roses, as I often forget this simple part of the builds.

So after getting the carport job done I thought a simple job would be to get the contact adhesive out, mask the Rezin Rockit and wrap the centre bar in webbing, as the second 15 meters had been delivered today. So I dismantled the two safety harnesses and started wrapping the centre bar. 10 meters of webbing as ordered off eBay. Until……… Seriously? 6 meters and then another 4 meter length. I was bloody livid, messaged the seller to ask him to resend a single 10 meter length as ordered. I am not even sure under what to file this sort of behaviour. Some time through the day I saw this French registered and built Jeep. I like the look. No roll bar though. Is it dangerous? .

Sadly, no Thumbs down 👎 button Pete. I am hoping that if Nick and I tackle it tomorrow, if he comes over, that we can get some sort of life from it. It would be rather lovely.
